Day 1: Arrival & Tibetan Heart

Arrival in Dharamshala & Hotel Check-in
Arrive in Dharamshala, usually by bus/taxi from Pathankot (nearest major railway station) or Gaggal Airport. Check into your hotel in McLeod Ganj, the upper Dharamshala, which is the hub of Tibetan culture. July is monsoon season, so expect heavy rainfall, misty mountains, and lush greenery. Carry waterproof gear and be prepared for slippery paths.
